Congratulations to Danica Magpantay for winning the Ford Models' Supermodel of the World Competition 2011 in New York! Heard the wonderful news this afternoon while watching the television.The reporter said she's only 17 yrs. old and daughter of Lala Flores, a Professional Make-up Artist and also a Supermodel titleholder 20 yrs. ago. How cool is that right? She won $250,000 from Ford Modeling agency. It's just so awesome knowing that she won and almost 70 participants from different countries joined this competition. I am a Filipina that's why I'm very proud of her! :p I believe that she will be featured in many popular fashion mags and be seen in many runways as well. Go girl! I know you can do it!

Last October, I attended the Philippine Fashion Week with my friends. We watched many fashion shows and also the Ford Supermodel Search wherein she was named as the Ford Models Supermodel of the World Philippines. I'm so lucky for watching this competition and seeing her in person hehe.
